I hope the photos do these pieces some justice, it's certainly more impressive in the flesh. The detail and ornamentation is incredible, especially when you consider this was hand carved. The mirror comes apart from the consoles but obviously these were designed as a set and match perfectly.
 

It's hard to know where to start when describing these such is the wealth of detail. The mirrors has an ornate frame which has been gilded to give it that lovely gold finish. there are lots of shells and curves to the designs, alongside leaves, rosettes, arabesques and other flourishes. To the top centre is the big shield.

May be at the either side of the mirrors two shelves for displaying vases or perhaps candles. The glass is clear and blemish free.
