The drawers are big so there is ample storage with this piece which would suit various interior schemes or rooms in your house.

The main structure of the pieces is mahogany whilst the inlay has been made from softer fruitwoods. The marquetry work is very intricate and detailed depicting flowers, leaves and scrolls in the true Dutch marquetry fashion. You can only imagine the amount of craftsmanship that went into the making of something like this as each individual piece of inlay design has to be cut out by hand and then pressed and embedded into the main structure of the piece. There is even inlay work on the apron, and the sides of this elegantly shaped piece.
